Training and Education

Title IX Training 

If you would like the Title IX Office staff to present, email TitleIX@lakeforest.edu. We schedule sessions throughout the academic year and during the summer months by appointment. 

  • The college also works with community partners to provide comprehensive resources and assist with trainings for students and employees.
  • Further outreach and education  is performed by campus committees and task forces. These groups' duties include working to reduce sexual assault on campus, advocating for survivors and helping improve victim services, supporting respondents, alike, and assisting  the Title IX Office with ensuring equity for employees. students, and third parties.

REQUIRED TRAININGS: 

This section lists required training opportunities for students, faculty, and staff as outlined below. 91¿´Æ¬Íø (LFC)  is committed to educating the campus community about sexual misconduct awareness and prevention, as well as equity and gender discrimination, therefore, both students and employees must complete assigned required training. They may also benefit from optional education and programs held throughout the year by various groups on campus.

Mandated Training

Employees and Student Employees

All 91¿´Æ¬Íø employees are considered responsible employees (RE) except for the Health and Wellness counseling staff members. This requires an annual training completion. You may access the employee training .  You will receive notification via your 91¿´Æ¬Íø email from human resources for employees, and a notification from student affairs for students regarding completing this annual online training. Please open, review, and follow the directions to complete the self-paced training. Note: this training is different than the Mandated Reporter training under the Child Abuse and Neglect Act and Campus Minors on Campus training. 

Student Training

All 91¿´Æ¬Íø students must complete certain campus training. Returning students, new students and transfer students are required to complete online training, participate in new orientation sessions, and other designated trainings as identified by institutionPlease learn more about the required training and how to access it .
