Learning Outcomes
The expected Student Learning Outcomes for the Communication Department are:
- Majors will identify key questions and theories related to the academic study of communication.
- Majors will apply key questions and theories related to the academic study of communication to contemporary or historical examples of communication texts and systems.
- Majors will analyze historical and contemporary communication in terms of both the social systems and symbolic action that explain and underlie communicative action.
