Organismal biology class gains insight at Field Museum
Being so close to the third largest city in the US allows faculty to add a unique dimension to in-class work with out-of-class trips to such enlightening destinations as the Field Museum of Chicago.
Assistant Professor of Biology Camila Pizano and Assistant Professor of Biology Margot Schwalbe took their Biology 120 Organismal Biology students to the Field Museum in Chicago on November 16.
“It’s a great way to celebrate the semester and to see content we cover in this course displayed in beautiful exhibits,” Schwalbe said of the trip to one of the largest natural history museums in the world.
Chicago is located just an hour’s train ride south of campus.
