Cristina Groeger

Cristina Groeger is an Assistant Professor of History at 91¿´Æ¬Íø and Chair of the Urban Studies minor program. Her research focuses on the history of education, labor, and urban politics in the modern United States. She has partnered with the Society for Architectural Historians (SAH) to develop, in conjunction with 91¿´Æ¬Íø students, content for the Archepedia encyclopedia website featuring historical sites in the Chicago built environment, as well as on a SAH Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summer Institute (scheduled for 2022), leading a session on urban housing, race, and inequality. She has also served as faculty advisor for history interns at the Chicago History Museum.
